MVCTC Welcomes New Staff for 49th Year!

Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) welcomes six new staff members for the 2020-21 school year, a year shaping up to be like no other.

We are happy to welcome each new staff member to MVCTC.

  • Jody Flynn, Pre-Nursing.  Ms. Flynn most recently served as the Nursing and Healthcare Instructor at Stebbins High School and has an extensive career in long-term and home health before moving into the education profession. She has a Master’s degree, and is working on a second one, and will teach College Credit Plus (CCP) courses in the Pre-Nursing program. Ms. Flynn holds degrees from Bowling Green, Indiana Wesleyan University, Sinclair Community College, and Western Governors University.
  • Jennifer Foudray, Biotechnology.  Mrs.Foudray is an MVCTC alumnus from the Veterinary Science program and graduate of The Ohio State University. She comes to MVCTC with six years of experience as an instructor with Global Impact STEM Academy, GrowNext Gen Teacher Leader, and Adjunct Professor at Clark State Community College.
  • Jesse Maxfield, Satellite Supervisor.  MVCTC works with partner school districts to offer 30 satellite career technical programs at 19 locations across the Miami Valley.  Mr. Maxfield will be supervising programs at Arcanum, Eaton, Franklin Monroe, Miami East, Mississinawa Valley, Northmont, Preble Shawnee, National Trail, and Vandalia Butler.  Mr. Maxfield most recently served as Career Technical Director with Mad River School District. He has degrees from Wright State University and the Univesity of Dayton.
  • Lauren Roeth, Graphic Commercial Art. Mrs. Roeth is an MVCTC alumnus from the Graphic Commercial Art program.  While attending MVCTC, she was a Student Ambassador and SkillsUSA Contest finalist.  Mrs. Roeth earned a degree from The Modern College of Design and went on to work as the Art Director at The Modern College of Design.
  • Allison Thompson, Graphic Commercial Art. Mrs. Thompson joined the MVCTC staff in January of 2020.  Before MVCTC, she had been the Lead Recruitment Specialist for The Modern College of Design and had worked as a freelance graphic designer.
  • Taiya Woodall, School Counselor.  Mrs. Woodall most recently worked as a School Counselor for Milton-Union Exempted Village Schools. Mrs. Woodall holds degrees from Wright State University.
