Joshua Hyre, 2004 Carpentry Alumnus
Joshua Hyre, MVCTC 2004 Carpentry Alumnus, is employed at the Journeyman Apprenticeship Training Center as an On the Job Training Instructor and Program Trainer. He stated, "I am an instructor for Union contractors. I travel from company to company and job to job and train, on job sites, different individuals who may lack some skills or knowledge in the carpentry trade to help better establish their skills and their livelihoods in the trade. I was in the Carpentry class at MVCTC and my life and my kids' lives are better because of my MVCTC education. We are living and experiencing a much better life than if I didn't start out there in a trade. I have a career and not just a job and now that I am an instructor it has really come full circle from those many years ago. It has truly been a blessing."
