Safety Department Donates to Ronald McDonald House
The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Safety Department volunteered to be a 'Pantry Partner' with the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Dayton. Safety officers made monetary donations to purchase items that the RMHC staff needed for their guests. The Safety Staff donated 41 items totaling $500.
Rita Cyr, Executive Director of the RMHC Dayton, sent a thank you letter stating, "your donation of Wishlist items to RMHC Dayton supports our mission of providing community, comfort, and hope to families with seriously ill children. Pantry Partners enables RMHC Dayton to make a difference in the lives of thousands of families each year -- and the demand for our services continues to grow. When they nee dit the most,k families have a home-away-from-home while they deal with the needs of critically ill, hospitalized babies and children."
On Friday, December 9, 2022, MVCTC will continue to support RMHC Dayton with the Annual FFA Charity Auction. This longstanding tradition has raised over $100,000 for RMHC over the past 40+years.
