Brookville-MVCTC FFA Members release first episode of podcast “Stationed By The Farm”
As a part of a project for creating a business plan in their agriculture business class four Brookville-MVCTC FFA members pictured above left to right, Jaycey Dull, Poppy Colston, Lexie Williams, and Morgan Miller, came up with the idea of a social media business. Students created the podcast to shine light on local agricultural issues as well as entertain, educate and enlighten consumers on the agricultural industry. Their first episode touched on the struggles and climate of the current agricultural workforce, as well as opportunities for students to go into the agricultural industry. They plan to incorporate guests onto their podcast such as farmers, agricultural professionals and educators. Their next podcast will feature guest, State Representative/Production Farmer Rodney Creech.
