Diesel Power Technology Students Compete in Ag Power Diagnostics FFA Contest

Diesel Power Technology students participated in the FFA District Ag Power Diagnostics Career Development Event (CDE) in early February. This CDE is an authentic assessment designed to evaluate students’ knowledge in recognizing and repairing malfunctions in agricultural and industrial power equipment. The skills Agricultural Education students employ in this CDE are the same skills that agricultural and industrial technicians require.
The two students who participated in this CDE were Owen Stephens (Arcanum-Butler) and Eyan Hackler (Ansonia). They competed at Tri-Star Career Center in Celina, OH, and placed 5th out of 23 teams. Congratulations!
