Partner District 8th - 10th Graders Explore Careers at MVCTC
Over 100 students entering grades 8-10 participated in MVCTC's Career Camp, June 5-7. Career Camp is a three-day camp that allows students to explore various MVCTC Career-Technical Programs. Career Camp aims to help students make career decisions for their future with the help of highly qualified Career-Technical Lab Instructors and current MVCTC students.
During the three-day camp, students explored nine different Career-Technical programs. Students were given the option to explore careers in Animal Care & Management, Biotechnology, Construction Carpentry, Criminal Justice, Digital Design, Drones & GIS Technologies, Electrical Trades, Heavy Equipment Operator, HVAC, Natural Resource Management, Pre-Engineering, Pre-Nursing, Sports Medicine and Veterinary Science.
