Discovering Dreams: MVCTC Helps Students Explore Path to Career Fulfillment
Northmont Englewood Hills Elementary Career Day
On Friday, September 22, MVCTC students shared their Career-Technical Program with Grades 2-6 students at Englewood Hills Elementary School through engaging, hands-on demonstrations and activities.
MVCTC students participating included Samantha Kemen (Computer Repair & Technical Support/Eaton) and Malea Padgitt (Medical Lab Assistant/Miami East).
Preble County 8th Graders Explore Future Careers.
On Tuesday, September 26, MVCTC students shared their Career-Technical Program with 8th-grade students from partner school districts Eaton, National Trail, Preble Shawnee, Tri-County North, and Twin Valley South at the Preble County Fairgrounds.
MVCTC students participating included Levi Bergman Diesel Power Technologies/Tri-Village), Alyssa Jackson (Cosmetology/Miamisburg), Grace Richmond (Pre-Nursing/Eaton), and Brooklyn Taylor (Graphic Commercial Art/Miami East).
MVCTC Career Exploration Coordinator Todd Engel, stated, "It was rewarding to see the excitement and smiles on the faces of students and the MVCTC Student Ambassadors during both events. MVCTC students demonstrated leadership with engaging conversations and hands-on activities."
