Soil Judging Contest

Congratulations to the Tri-County North MVCTC FFA Rural Soil judging team who competed this month at the District 5 contest. FFA members who competed were Sawyer Flora, Taylor Flora, Taylor Sheley, Jeffery Ricketts, Luke Wright, Dylan Boone and Madison Bondurant. The rural soil judging CDE is an educational activity designed as a practical method of teaching students to evaluate land and soil to determine its greatest safe potential use. The team of Sawyer, Taylor, Jeffery, and Taylor placed 8th overall. Sawyer placed in the top 5 at the contest so he advances on to compete at the STATE contest! Please help us wish Sawyer a good look at the state contest this weekend! Thank you to BJ Price from Preble County Soil & Water for helping prepare Sawyer for this weekend!
