Quinlan Singleton, a senior in the Cosmetology program at Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC), has been recognized as the Northmont Rotary Student of the Month for December 2023. The award was presented to Quinlan by Dr. Nick Weldy, Superintendent of MVCTC.

Quinlan's outstanding character and academic achievement were key factors in her nomination and selection for this honor.

Mrs. Mandy Turner, Quinlan's Cosmetology Instructor, nominated her for the award. Mrs. Turner stated, "Quinlan is a wonderful and hardworking student. She cares about her grades and how well she does with each and every task. She takes pride in her work and is a model student for her peers."

Quinlan Singleton is set to take the Ohio State Cosmetology Board test in early 2024. After earning her cosmetology license, Quinlan plans to work in a salon while pursuing further education to become a medical sonographer.

Dr. Nick Weldy, Superintendent of MVCTC, congratulated Quinlan, stating, "Quinlan's achievements and goals exemplify the high caliber of students we have at MVCTC. We are proud to see her dedication and hard work recognized, and we are confident that she will continue excelling in her future endeavors."
