The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) recently participated in the Northmont Career Day at Union Elementary, showcasing the excitement and opportunities within Career-Technical Programs. On Thursday, February 29, MVCTC students engaged Grades 2-6 with interactive demonstrations and activities, igniting a passion for future careers.

Led by Todd Engel, MVCTC coordinator, the event left a lasting impact on both the young students of Union Elementary and the MVCTC Student Ambassadors. Engel remarked, "It was amazing and very rewarding to see the excitement and smiles on the faces of not only the Union Elementary students but also the MVCTC Student Ambassadors."

The event was made possible through the partnership between MVCTC and Northmont City Schools, reflecting a commitment to fostering career exploration and educational collaboration within the community.

MVCTC Student Ambassadors Avery Brewer from Miamisburg, representing Media and video Production, and Josh Smith from Northmont, representing Retail Agriculture Services, showcased the diverse array of Career-Technical Programs offered at MVCTC.

Engel expressed gratitude to Northmont City Schools for extending the invitation to MVCTC, recognizing the importance of introducing young students to future career possibilities and empowering them with knowledge and inspiration.
