MVCTC Students Engage in Career Exploration Event at Versailles Career Day

04/05/2024

Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) students participated in a Career Exploration event hosted by Versailles Exempt Village Schools. This event served as a platform for MVCTC students to share insights and information about their educational journey and Career-Technical Programs with Versailles High School students in Grades 8-10.

Versailles students actively participated in the event by signing up to attend their top five career sessions, rotating through informative 20-minute sessions. These sessions facilitated meaningful interactions, allowing visiting Versailles students to glean firsthand knowledge from MVCTC Student Ambassadors.

Versailles students seized the chance to pose questions to the MVCTC Student Ambassadors throughout the sessions. From inquiries about their experiences at MVCTC to insights into career pathways and post-graduation plans, the discussions were robust and enlightening. MVCTC student ambassadors participating in the event were Eva Fry (Bethel) from the Criminal Justice program and Mackenzea Townsend (Mississinawa Valley) from the Sports Medicine program.
