MVCTC Digital Design senior Riley Wilson (Milton-Union) won the Max May Holocaust Memorial Art Contest! Riley's poignant poster depicting Virginia Hall eloquently echoed the contest theme, ‘One person can make a difference.’

Riley’s creative masterpiece pays homage to Virginia Hall, a remarkable figure who worked as a spy in France during World War II. Under the guidance of MVCTC English teacher Breanna McKinley, Riley found the inspiration and encouragement to channel her talent into this powerful tribute.

The Max May Holocaust Memorial Art Contest, "held under the auspices of the Holocaust Education Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton, stands as a beacon of remembrance and reflection. Sponsored by Renate Frydman and family in memory of Grandfather Max May, the contest serves as a poignant reminder of the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity."
