MVCTC Student Participates in Youth @ the Booth

Brandy Mewbuorn, a senior in Environmental & Natural Resources Tech Prep from Northmont, served her fellow citizens by working at the polls May 4 as part of Youth at the Booth. Her senior social studies teacher is Mr. David Sanford. Ms. Mewbuorn said, “There wasn't a huge turnout like you would have expected. We only had 9 absentees and 132 voters come in, but I learned how to work the book and encoder for the primary elections since voters have to declare a party to vote.”
