MVCTC Hosts Sinclair College Completers Recognition Ceremony Honoring Student Achievements

Englewood, Ohio – On Thursday, April 24, 2025, the Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) proudly hosted the Sinclair College Completers Recognition Ceremony to celebrate MVCTC students who completed Sinclair College coursework and earned degrees or short-term technical certificates.

Dr. Rhonda Phillips, MVCTC Assistant Superintendent of Instruction, welcomed guests and congratulated students on their dedication to academic excellence and career readiness. Sinclair College representatives in attendance included Sarah Humphreys, Candice Flowers-Taylor, and Amy Ratliff, who each played a key role in supporting MVCTC’s College Credit Plus (CCP) partnership with Sinclair.

Students recognized during the ceremony completed coursework in three MVCTC programs:

  • Medical Lab Assisting, taught by Paula Wathen
  • Aviation Maintenance Technology, taught by Ryan Bruss and Jarrett Walters
  • Computer Coding & Web Applications, taught by Melissa Goodall
