MVCTC April Students of the Month Recognized for Outstanding Achievement

Each month, Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) proudly recognizes students who have demonstrated exceptional academic and personal growth across various programs. For April, the following students were honored for their hard work, dedication, and contributions to their respective departments.

Health and Consumer Sciences Department
La’Shay Mack, a senior in the Health Occupations program from Huber Heights, has been praised for her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dedication to personal growth. Her perseverance and respectful demeanor make her a standout student. La’Shay's commitment to excellence is truly commendable.

Heather Spahn, a senior in the Pre-Nursing program from Carlisle, has demonstrated exceptional progress toward her goal of becoming a care flight nurse. While working as a patient care technician at Premier Health, she has also completed her EMT training through Sinclair and passed the rigorous EMT registry exam. Heather's hard work and determination continue to inspire those around her.

Electives, Business, Information Technology, and Agriculture Department
Jacey McQueen, a senior in the Pre-Law & Legal Studies program from Eaton, has been recognized for her academic excellence and leadership in class. A MVCTC Valedictorian, Jacey is known for her kindness and willingness to help both classmates and teachers. Her outstanding work ethic and dedication to her studies set a high standard for her peers.

Elana Stroud, also in the Pre-Law & Legal Studies program and from Carlisle, is an exceptionally bright and hardworking student. Elana excelled in Business Law & Ethics at the state level during the Business Professionals of America competition. Her intelligence, kindness, and leadership have earned her the respect of her peers and instructors alike.

Academics Department
Allyson Greene, a junior in the Veterinary Science program from Valley View, was nominated by both her Science and English teachers for her exceptional academic achievements. She consistently arrives prepared for class, offering assistance to her peers and always striving to master the content. Allyson's dedication to her studies and her ability to help others make her a standout student.

Emma Harris, a junior in the Biotechnology program from Northmont, has consistently demonstrated excellence in her studies. Nominated by her government teacher, Mike Williams, Emma earned high marks and actively participates in class discussions. Her positive attitude, punctuality, and curiosity make her a valuable asset to any classroom.

Satellites
Rhylee Eichhorn, a senior at Miami East-MVCTC, has been recognized for her outstanding achievements in the agriculture field. Rhylee, a fourth-year member of the Miami East-MVCTC FFA Chapter, was named a Top Four State Proficiency finalist in the Swine Production Entrepreneurship award area. She has excelled in livestock evaluation competitions and qualified for several state finals, showcasing her dedication and skill in agriculture.

Natalie Epperson, an 8th-grade student from Northmont in the PLTW program, has shown remarkable initiative in her Robotics class. As both a student and student aide, Natalie excelled in writing code and even programmed a robot to spell her name. Her commitment to learning and helping others is truly impressive.

Nick Patrizio, a 7th-grade student from Northmont in the PLTW program, is known for his positive attitude and willingness to assist his classmates. Always ready to lend a hand, Nick brings enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to every class session.

MVCTC is proud to highlight the achievements of these outstanding students, whose hard work and dedication serve as an inspiration to others.
