MVCTC HOSA Chapter Off to a Great Start

The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) chapter held their first meeting of the school year on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. The junior HOSA classes held their meeting in the morning and the senior classes in the afternoon. The meetings included the induction of the 2012-13 HOSA Chapter Officers and guest speaker Hayley Carter, Allied Health Tech Prep senior. Hayley shared a story of her cousin who battled drug addiction and eventually died from an overdose. This personal and compelling story was presented very articulately and was well received by the students.
