MVCTC Teacher Selected to Present at National Conference

Mrs. Goodall, Computer Technology Academy teacher was selected to present at the 2013 Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) conference in Boston, Massachusetts. The conference will be held July 15-16. The workshop is titled Game On! App Inventor in a Virtual World. The presentation will be showing how to use a Virtual Reality Academy to teach Middle School instructors to develop mobile applications using MIT App Inventor. This is a model that she is hoping to adopt here at the CTC and among our partner districts. She will be presenting along with one other teacher (Patrice Gans) from a middle school in Vermont. She taught the curriculum to 5th and 6th graders.
