MVCTC Economics Students win Stock Market Challenge

Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Economics students in Mr. Justin Adam’s class competed in the Ohio Stock Market Challenge. This simulation equips middle and high school students throughout Ohio with $100,000 in "imaginary funds" to manage a hypothetical portfolio of stocks, bonds and mutual funds over a ten-week period. Using state-of-the-art software, students researched and traded in real-time using the latest available bid/ask prices from the market.
Out of 110 teams in the Dayton region, MVCTC students placed 1st and 2nd.
