Early Childhood Education Juniors volunteer at local nursing home

The juniors in the Early Childhood program have volunteered hours at “The Laurels” a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Huber Heights for their FCCLA national project called Chapter Service Manual. They collected over $200 and helped the senior citizens with their Halloween trick or treating by supplying candy and helped pass it out to the little ones who visited. The class also participated in the Christmas party by creating several different crafts with over 30 residents and ended the party by handing out gift bags to the residents and singing various holiday classic songs.
