MVCTC BPA Students Qualify for State Contests

Englewood, Ohio -- Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Business Professionals of America (BPA) students performed well at the recent BPA Region 3 Contests with 129 students winning or placing in the top six for their contest. Of the regional winners, 52 qualified to compete at the State BPA Contest in Columbus March 12-13, 2015.
The following students placed either first or second in their Regional BPA Contest and qualified to compete at the Ohio BPA Contest in Columbus:

- Alysson Bellamy, Milton-Union MVCTC Business Satellite student, placed 2nd in the Fundamental Word Processing Skills Contest
- Megan Billing, Milton-Union MVCTC Business Satellite student, placed 1st in the Prepared Speech Contest
- Austin Brown, Franklin Monroe MVCTC Business Satellite student, placed 1st in the Banking & Finance Contest
