Samantha Hatfield - Class of 2015 Spotlight
Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) senior, Samantha Hatfield, completed the Health Careers program at MVCTC and earned her State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification while still in high school. She plans to attend Wright State University majoring in Nursing. Her goal is to complete the Wright State Nurse Practitioner Program.
Samantha shared, “I knew I wanted to enter the health field so I decided to go to MVCTC to get a head start. I like that I had the chance to learn a lot about the field that I will be entering. I also liked that I had chance to ask my lab instructor plenty of questions and she gave me answers that she learned from on the job experience. Attending MVCTC was a very great opportunity that allowed me to meet new people and to prepare myself for the field that I want to enter.”
Samantha is the daughter of John and Kelly Hatfield of Carlisle.
