Megan Duffy - Class of 2015 Spotlight

05/07/2015

Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) senior, Megan Duffy, a Sports Medicine student from Tri-County North, was named one of the MVCTC Class of 2015 Valedictorians.  Megan will be attending Wright State University in the fall to pursue a degree in Biology. She plans to pursue a career as a Physicians Assistant.

Megan shared, “My experience was completely amazing. The people are great and coming from a small school it was kind of exciting to walk through a hallway where you didn't already know everyone. Coming to MVCTC has been the best decision I have made so far. My career technical program has helped give me the knowledge I need to be a successful college student. Mr. Money helped me the entire way and has challenged me to go above and beyond to be the best that I can be. I have learned the value of hard work and learned how to thrive under pressure. Most people think that all Sports Medicine does, but they have never experienced just how tough the class can be. Being able to balance Mr. Money's necessary studying, sports, and all my other classes, I feel confident that I will be able to manage my time and do well after High School.”

Megan is the daughter of Daniel and Jennifer Duffy of Lewisburg. She received the National Technical Honor Society Scholarship worth $500 and the Wright State University Val/Sal Tuition Scholarship worth $36,000.
