Taylor Hayslett - Class of 2015 Spotlight
Englewood, Ohio – Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) senior, Taylor Hayslett, an Aviation Maintenance Technician student from Tri-County North was named one of the MVCTC Class of 2015 Valedictorians. Taylor will be FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certified after completing the MVCTC Aviation program, she plans to go straight to work as an aircraft mechanic after high school. In the future, Taylor plans to pursue further education in engineering.
Taylor shared, “There are so many new opportunities that come from going to a school like this. It's awesome to have a head start in a career that I'm actually interested in. I know that I am being prepared for life after high school in more ways than one. My experience at MVCTC has been amazing. I can't even begin to say how grateful I am for the opportunities that I have had here. I really believe that everyone here wants the students to succeed. By the end of my program I will be certified and able to get a job, without further education. That's an amazing benefit. My instructors have been so helpful, and are always there to push me along the way.”
Taylor is the daughter of Brad and Kim Hayslett of Lewisburg.
