MVCTC Electives, Business, Information Technology, and Agriculture Students of the Month October 2015

Paisley Jones, Brookville High School, from Mr. Zach Gueth’s Sports Marketing and Management Program, Dakota Cox, Tri-County North High School, out of Mr. Larry Seibel’s Diesel and Power Technologies Program, and Austin Pearce, Northmont High School, out of Mr. John Underwood’s Computer Network Engineering Program, were recognized as the EBITA October 2015 Students of the Month. 

Paisley Jones, Sports Marketing and Management, serves as the class President and is a leader in the classroom.  Her instructor, Mr. Zach Gueth stated, “Paisley works hard on a daily basis and is always willing to help her fellow students.  Paisley has a great work ethic that will allow her to have continued success.”  In addition, Paisley maintained perfect attendance for the first quarter.

Dakota Cox, Diesel Power and Technology, is a chapter FFA Officer and he has served MVCTC as a student ambassador.  His instructor, Mr. Larry Seibel, recognized Dakota’s work ethic and leadership in stating, “Dakota is very active in FFA and the program and he works extremely hard while keeping up with all classroom obligations.”

Austin Pearce, Computer Network Engineering, was recently recognized as one of five students in the State of Ohio out of 120 applicants to be invited to apply to the National Presidential Scholars Program.  Austin’s instructor, Mr. John Underwood, complimented Austin in stating, “Austin is dedicated not only to his grades, but he is also dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge.”
