Congratulations MVCTC! Each year the Computer Network Engineering Lab competes in a Global Skills competition administered by CISCO Systems. The competition is called NetRiders and has 3 categories 1) ITE for Computer hardware skills 2) CCENT for Basic networking Skills 3) CCNA for Advanced Networking Skills.
Each student competitor must meet a benchmark score AND be top 5 in their Cisco lab to qualify for round two.
The Miami Valley CTC is the Only School or University in the State of Ohio to qualify 15 competitors to Round 2. A distinction shared with only one other school in the USA and Canada (Thomas A Edison CTE – New York)
