MVCTC Prom King and Queen 2016

Englewood, Ohio – The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) 2016 Prom, “Under the Sea” was Saturday, April 9, 2016.  The MVCTC Prom Court includes a male and female candidate nominated by each of the MVCTC Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSO).  The 2016 Prom Court included:

 

  • BPA Candidates:
    • Zena Myers, Business Ownership senior from Dixie High School
    • Evan Florkey, Computer Repair & Technical Support from Greenville High School
  • FCCLA Candidates:
    • Taemar Awalom, Culinary Arts senior from Northmont High School
    • Joash Cook, Culinary Arts senior from Wayne High School
  • FFA Candidates:
    • Nick Wheeler, Natural Resource Management senior from Milton-Union High School
    • Nikayla Yancey, Veterinary Science senior from West Carrollton High School
  • HOSA Candidates:
    • Tyler Nutt, Sports Medicine senior from Vandalia-Butler High School
    • Lillian Goffinet, Health Careers Academy senior from Tippecanoe High School
  • SkillsUSA Chapter 1 Candidates:
    • Kurtiss Jones, Cosmetology senior from Miamisburg High School
    • Taryn Haynes, Cosmetology senior from Twin Valley South High School

Near the end of the night, the 2016 MVCTC Prom King and Queen were crowned. 2016 Prom King is Nick Wheeler (Natural Resource Management senior from Milton-Union High School) and the 2016 Prom Queen is Taryn Haynes (Cosmetology senior from Twin Valley South High School).

 

For over 40-years, MVCTC has been providing career technical education for 27 partner school districts encompassing five counties in Southwest Ohio.  MVCTC is dedicated to providing in-demand workforce training for youth, adults, and organizations in the Miami Valley.
