Description
The Fabricator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by transforming raw materials into precise components and assemblies according to detailed specifications. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all fabricated parts meet quality standards and fit perfectly within larger systems. The Fabricator collaborates closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Through careful measurement, cutting, shaping, and assembling, the Fabricator contributes directly to the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. Ultimately, this role ensures that the final products are safe, functional, and durable, supporting the overall goals of the organization.
Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (or working to obtain).
Proven experience in fabrication or a related manufacturing role.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Basic knowledge of fabrication tools and machinery.
Preferred Qualifications:
Some basic welding experience or willingness to learn.
Experience with CNC machinery or automated fabrication equipment.
Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.
Prior experience working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand fabrication requirements.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal or other materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
Follow detailed instructions and safety protocols to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress, challenges, and material needs.

Preferred skills such as welding certification and CNC operation enhance the Fabricator’s ability to work with advanced tools and techniques, increasing efficiency and product quality. Together, these skills support the Fabricator in delivering high-quality, reliable components that meet project specifications and contribute to overall organizational success.
Days / Hours
Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm is normal scheduled hours but we are willing to be very flexible with schedules for students
Pay Range & Benefits
Starting pay is $18.00-$20.00/hr
Benefits are available for full-time employees after 60 days
