The Glen ELC is looking to hire a qualified, friendly, and enthusiastic teacher who has extended experience working with children. Education and Experience:

Associates' or Bachelors' Degree in Early Childhood or similar degree program required

Join a team of dedicated early childhood professional(s) who genuinely care about the people they serve.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to early childhood education standards.
Manage classroom dynamics to foster a positive learning environment.
Provide individualized support to children, addressing their unique developmental needs.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies.
Ensure a safe and nurturing atmosphere for all students.
Requirements:

A four-year degree in Education or related field, OR two-year degree in Early Childhood or related field,
Ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to children,
Evidence of emotional maturity and stability
Evidence of sufficient security and judgment to handle crisis situations and to use supervision constructively
Must complete a criminal history background check after hire.
Have mobility, strength, and flexibility within the classroom and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Days / Hours

Monday through Friday
Full-Time - 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Part-Time - Be available during the hours of 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm (You can choose your schedule)
