Description

Assist with verification of compliance of the approved KC-46 Maintenance Program and KC-46 Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS).
Conduct recurrent in-process reviews, analysis of data, quality assurance audits, maintenance program reviews, and provide decisional support documentation and recommendations of analysis findings.
Deliver support documentation and recommendations for compliance with the KC-46 Maintenance Program, applicable USAF instructions, and FAA regulations required for conformance of commercial airworthiness under the Boeing 767-2C Amended Type Certification (ATC), Supplemental Type Certification (STC), and KC-46 Military Type Certification (MTC).
Collaborate and coordinate with aircraft maintenance quality assurance leadership to conduct scheduled maintenance compliance audits, analyze LEAD data, and present results to the CASS team.
Assist in reviewing corrective action responses for effectiveness and provide acceptance or rejection reasoning that agrees with USAF quality processes.
Assist in writing surveillance reports, Service Difficulty Reports (SDRs) and additional FAA reporting documents as needed.


Skills

Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Science (MS)) and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD
OR, BA/BS degree, and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD
OR, twenty (20) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD.
Must have aviation quality assurance auditing experience and commercial and/or military aviation maintenance experience.
Must have skills and experience necessary to work closely with program management, maintenance technicians, and engineers in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Successful Ability to work as part of a team and/or independently.
Independently demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Skype/Lync), Adobe Acrobat, and applications for access to the world wide web including Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the required level. U.S. Citizenship.
