Description
Our Veterinary Assistants primary responsibility is to assist the entire team to provide medical care to our patients. This will include but not be limited to restraining patients for exams and treatment, placing clients and patients in exam rooms, fulfilling medication prescriptions, administering oral medications and subcutaneous injections, preparing blood, fecal, and urine samples for laboratory testing, cleaning exam tables and rooms after appointments, clean and disinfect cages and kennels after patients are released, stocking supplies in exam and treatment rooms, as well as any general housekeeping tasks that are necessary to ensure the office remains clean and professional.
Skills
Assistants must have a strong, professional work ethic, work well within a team, have basic phone and computer skills, be able to lift 50 pounds, and the ability to multitask.
Days / Hours
5 hour shifts Monday - Friday and every other Saturday.
Pay Range & Benefits
$12 - $14, pay subject to change based on experience.
