Production and Testing Associate

Description

We have an opportunity for a production and testing associate in our facility.
Responsibilities include:
• Prepare weld test specimens for evaluation – knowledge of welding helpful but not required
• Moving baskets of material using a pallet jack or forklift
• Packing boxes for shipment.
• Driving a forklift to load and unload trucks and put away material
• Operating bandsaw(s) and handling parts after cutting
• Cleaning shop areas
• Other tasks required for an orderly machine shop

Skills

• Must be 18 years old (can be waived if candidate is enrolled in a vocational training program)
• Must have reliable transportation to and from shop
• Able to work independently
• Punctual

Days / Hours

7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday

Pay Range & Benefits

$17/hr starting
• Part time will work around school schedule as needed.
• For the right candidate, this position could become full-time, with insurance and other benefits
• Company tool loan program: able to buy tools through the company and pay back in installments interest-free.
