Natural Resource Management Ohio FFA Agriscience Competition results: 

  • Natural Resource Management Seniors - Heidi Allan (Tipp City) and Kevin Newman (Carlisle) received Top 4 in the Animal Sciences category with the project "The Effect of Bat Guano on Mealworm Growth Rate." 
  • Natural Resource Management Juniors - Josh McKinney (Tipp City) and Noah Johnson (Valley View) received Top 4 Honors in the Animal Systems category with their study of crawfish and water pollution tolerance. 
  • Natural Resource Management Juniors - Erin Keihl (Arcanum-Butler) and Bailey Schaaf (West Carrollton) received Top 4 Honors in the Plant Systems category with their project "The Effect of Various Wavelengths of LED lightning on the Growth of Wheatgrass."
  • Natural Resource Management Junior Dalton Marshall (Brookville) was selected Top 4 Honors in the Environmental Natural Resource category. 
  • Natural Resource Management Senior Hannah Savard (Vandalia-Butler) was selected Top 4 Honors in the Environmental/Natural Resource category with her project "Which species of worm produces the best compost?"
  • Natural Resource Management Senior Hannah Smith (Arcanum-Butler) was selected Top 4 Honors in the Environmental Systems category with her project "A Survey Comparison of Songbird Populations in Rural and Suburban Habitats."
  • Natural Resource Management Seniors Layla Hatfield (Valley View) and Emma Hoening (Vandalia-Butler) were selected as Top 4 Finalists in the Environmental Systems category with their project was "Finding a Simple and Affordable Method to Provide Safe Drinking Water, a Comparison of Water Filtration effectiveness."
  • Natural Resource Senior Students Lillian Smith (Huber Heights) and Sydney Cole (Miamisburg) were selected as Top 4 Finalists in the Plant Systems Sciences category with the project "The impact of temperature on mushroom growth." 

 

Veterinary Science Ohio FFA Agriscience Competition results: 

 

  • Veterinary Science Senior Jayla Denlinger (Twin Valley South) was selected as a Top 4 Finalist in the Animal Sciences category. Her project titled: "Which Type of Equine Fly Spray is the Most Effective?"
  • Veterinary Science Senior Keara Peffly (Valley View) was selected as a Top 4 Finalist in the Animal Sciences category with her project titled "Shelter Adoptions: What Leads People to Adopt?"
  • Veterinary Science Senior Phoebe Jacobs (Tipp City) was selected as a Top 4 Finalist in the Animal Sciences category with her project on "Slow Feeders in Dogs."
