Digital Design Students Visit Standard Register
On Jan. 8, 2016, Digital Design students took a field trip to Standard Register. They learned about how emerging technologies such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Graphic Design, 3D Modeling, and Web applications from Standard Register's Creative Technology department employees.
Standard Register was recently acquired by Taylor and has experienced growth during the restructuring process. Diana Tullio, CIO of Standard Register, approached the Digital Design students about a paid internship position that will be offered this Summer. Students in the Digital Design program were encouraged to apply for the internship to further their professional development in digital media and technology.
